![]() I don't mean to badmouth Logitech, by the way, that keyboard really wasn't made for Macs (even says so on the website), so the operating system's just using whatever driver sort of works. ![]() Just my two cents, if I was in the market for a keyboard I would definitely get something else. Mac OS treats it like a mouse, so you can't really change any settings, like disable tap to click (which is annoying because scrolling sometimes interprets as click) and it cannot handle anything above two finger scroll (and even that's pretty bad). And at less than 4 it’s worth having in your arsenal just in case you need it one day. We’d definitely suggest taking this for a try at the very least because the fact it works so well is impressive alone. Keyboard is functional although the layout is annoying (I always hit the up arrow key when I want to press the right shift key), but the touchpad is barely useable. All of this will cost you 3.99 but there’s a free trial for anyone who wants to test El Trackpad out before committing. I can't speak about other mouse/keyboard setups, but I have the Logitech K400 for the Mac that I use as an HTPC, and it's pretty bad. Are there any other decent brands or models for somewhat less than $100? Do multi-touch gestures work at all? I can't live without two-fingered scrolling at the very least. I've used the Logitech K400 before on a Windows machine, and it was fine-everything you could want for the price really-but I don't know how it performs with OS X. ![]() Since I just spent $500 on a computer, and will have to spend more in the near future on a RAM upgrade and an external super-drive, I can't really stomach the $170 or so it would take to get Apple's wireless keyboard and magic trackpad and one of those gadgets to connect the two. ![]() I've just bought a Mac Mini on eBay to be used primarily as an HTPC, and I need to find a reasonably priced wireless keyboard/trackpad combo to control it. ![]()
